I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden. ~Ruth Stout
I know that many of you wanted to know where I find the swaps I participate in when I posted about the Pink & Brown Swap. Well the lovely Rebecca & Lucy are organizing another swap!
The Spring Fling Swap!
I might add that seeing as they have started a joint blog I would guess that they plan more swaps in the future!
The deadline to sign up is March 26th if anyone is interested. I highly recommend these types of swaps. My favorite packages have come from blog organized swaps. Not that I haven't got great packages from Swap Bot swaps but it is just a little different. Also even though I have been fortunate enough to always receive a package from the swaps that I have joined I know that not everyone does. Poor Fiona got skunked on like 3 swaps last fall/winter. How stinky is that??
I hope to maybe see some of your names on the Spring Fling Swap list or maybe on future Sweet Goodness Swaps!

God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you?" ~William A. Ward
Thank goodness it is Friday! What a week. Way too much drama for my liking! Drama at home, drama at work, drama with out of state family. Oy! The good thing is I won’t bore you all with it & it appears that everything is working it’s self out. Well there will always be the drama at work, I mean come on I work with the DQ (Drama Queen). How could there not be?!
So even though the rest of my world was in upheaval this week the mail was kind to me.
I received my March Coloriffic Swap-o-rama package, blues & greens, from Lyn of Florspace. Thank you!!!
What a package it is!

She made me a monogrammed bag & some adorable cloth coasters! (I have had these on the to do list for months, yeah I can check them off!).
There is candy, bittersweet chocolate (yum!), beads(love love love em), a mechanical pencil (I can never have enough of these!), a bandana, a teddy bears, wooden box, crocheted flower, cell phone leash (great idea!), fabric & a really pretty zipper pouch. Can you ever have too many bags of assorted sizes? I don’t think so!
I love the fabric My favorite is the one on the far right, but they are all so pretty!:

Also I might add that she has an Etsy Shop with some really cute pouches & bags, incase you are looking for a little something or a great little gift. Thanks Lyn!
Then I the other night I get home & John asks me who I know in New Mexico (other than the people that he knows too that is). Of course I told him my Sugar Daddy (don't I wish!!!) I look at the fat little envelope & realize that it’s from Raesha! I opened it up to find this:
I was so surprised to be on the receiving end of Raesha’s CAOK! I am so touched that she thought to include me. I love the papers that she sent & the card is adorable! It has my favorite Black Capped Chickadee on it! I am supposed to send him on to someone else. Hmmmm……..
I know that she off on vaca with little Miss S but Thank You Thank You, Sweet lady!
If you aren’t familiar with the term check out African Kelli who started, CAOK ~ Calculated Acts Of Kindness. I know that this has been said a lot lately but Bloggers are the nicest most generous people! My only regret is that we all don’t live in the same neighborhood!
I hope that everyone else had as sweet a spot in there week!

Swaps & Contests….
I got my Orange & Purple Coloriffic Swap package & it was another great one! I guess in light of all my other “issues” the swap Gods have taken pity on my & blessed me with fabulous swap partners of late!
All this yummy goodness came from Revital.

She made the earrings, bracelet & the little butterfly buttons! I have really been into purple lately so I have been wearing the bracelet & earrings a lot.
While we are on the swapping subject, I would like to point out that my lovely Aqua & Red Swap partner, Heather, is hosting a swap. Check out her A Little Bit of Everything Swap. I was swearing off Swap Bot swaps for for individual swaps for a while but I had to join this seeing as Heather was hosting it.
I have also entered a contest Stacy’s Stacy Sews Fabric Leftovers Contest. There are some great entries so I would ask you to go check them out. Not that you have to vote for mine, but I won’t be upset if you do. Just vote & show some support for the craftiness out there in blog land.
Speaking of contests, remember that great Peeps Bra from the Sewing Expo a couple posts back, well as it turns out one of my readers (how funny does that sound?) Sarah e-mailed me to ask if I had seen her entry at the Expo, because she hadn’t heard anything from them. Well as it turns out Miz Sarah took first place with her entry “Sports Bra: Supporting a Race for a Cure”. Isn’t that so great! Congrats Sarah!
