Mother Nature, who apparently is not bound by the constraints of conventional holiday observation, played an April Fools joke on us 4 days late as this is what I was greeted with when I let Puppy Dog out at 6 am this morning.
Lovely!
You can see my poor daffodils & hyacinths that are probably now ruined just peeking out from under that snow.
This is the view from the driveway…..
And at the end of our road on my way to work (because you know nothing says safety like taking pictures while you are driving. I was at a stop sign for this one though.) If you would like to see more you can check them out here.

Next up on a kind of related note. I have not posted in a while because one I have been sewing like mad on several orders that I have to finish for mid April & two because I thought that I was at my 100th post. I wanted to have a giveaway but haven’t had the time to make anything so I was stalling. Then yesterday I noticed that I had two posts still saved as drafts that apparently count toward you post count on Blogger. So this is really only my 98th post. Duh! I am such a spaz!!!!! April Fools on me. But the good thing is that I hope to be able to get my projects finished up & some goodies made for my 100th post next week!

So that you don’t think that I have really been sitting around eating bon bons I finished up my Coloriffic Swap-o-rama for March & its on its way.
This will be my last Coloriffic Swap for a while I think. I have the Spring Fling Swap with my partner Renee & a personal swap with Fiona this month that I am really looking forward to & am such having fun putting together.

Now on a sad note Robert Clark the director of A Christmas Story was killed in a car accident yesterday. I just love that movie! I make John suffer through it every year. I used to put on the 24 hours of A Christmas Story & just let er play. Which by the way the Chistmas Story house complete with Leg Lamp has a website & is a Museum!! How cool is that???!!!!

So kiddies that is all for now. I now have one more post & then with any luck I will have my 100th post (for real this time, sigh) next week!

I love a Christmas Story too!!! It's one of my favorites.
Wow, look at that snow - we're supposed to get some this afternoon too. And after I had just put away all the winter coats.
the frost came and killed my tulips and lilacs. mother nature is such a bitch.
and i love the christmas story. one of the best movies ever.
Yikes! that's a rude awakening, for sure! We had snow last week but luckily it was gone by the next day. I was afraid for my lilies, but I think they're going to be all right. Hope yours pull through!
We do the 24 hours of A Christmas Story at our house too. I never get tired of it. :)
We got snow just a couple of days ago, too. So much for spring!
I cannot believe that snow! Where did spring go?
Looking forward to your 100th post:) (Actually when I first saw this post in my feed reader, I thought you had reached 100 and was excited for you. The counting thing sounds like something I would do:)
Holy cow!! That snow is incredible!! Is John in NM now??
WoW! The snow is lovely but I can understand how it's not very welcome. I'm ready for spring too! Hopefully it will warm up for you soon :)
I was going to leave a comment about how at least your snow was pretty... but now I'm sad to hear about the Christmas Story director. That is one of my all time favorite movies...
Totting off to observe a moment of silence...
xo
What is going on in your neck of the woods. Where did that snow come from ??
We will forgive you for not posting for so long seems I will be one of the ones benefiting from your sewing-a-thon. Love your coloriffic swap, purple - I should have done that swap. Oh well, I've got so many more coming my way.
I too have had a big weekend sewing. Check out my Flickr.....
Look at all of that snow, that is what we got yesterday and it put me in the crabbiest mood. Today though the sky is blue and sunny and I feel so much better. Plus the snow is melting. yippy.
brrrrr, I feel cold just looking at your post, thats not hard since we are on the downward slide to winter.....brrrrr, good luck with all your sewing projects!!
OOH Thank you for the lovely headbands!! Miss S and I LOVE them:):) The fabric is so cool and will match so many things:) Thank you for being my friend:)
